Notice of 2027 Budget Workshops
The Board of Fire Commissioners of Gloucester Township Fire District No. 4 will conduct additional public workshop meetings to review and discuss preparation of the proposed 2027 Fire District Budget.
All workshops will be conducted at Blackwood Fire Company, 14 W. Central Avenue, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012.
No formal action will be taken at these Budget Workshops.
These meetings are open to the public.
The Board may enter executive session only for matters permitted by law, following adoption of the required resolution in public session pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12 and 10:4-13.

Notice of Budget Introduction & First Reading
The Board of Fire Commissioners of Gloucester Township Fire District No. 4 will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, immediately following the regularly scheduled meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at Blackwood Fire Company, 14 W. Central Avenue, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012.
The Board will consider the formal introduction and approval of the proposed 2027 Fire District Budget, constituting the first reading pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:14-78.1.
The Board also anticipates establishing the date, time, and location of the required public hearing.
The Board may take formal action concerning introduction and approval of the proposed 2027 Fire District Budget and scheduling of the statutory public hearing.
This meeting is open to the public.
Executive session may be conducted only for matters permitted by law, following adoption of the required resolution in public session pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:4-12 and 10:4-13.

The Board of Fire Commissioners of Gloucester Township Fire District No. 4 will hold its 2026 Year-End Meeting on Wednesday, December 30, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at Blackwood Fire Company, 14 W. Central Avenue, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012.
The Board will conduct official District business, including year-end financial, administrative, and operational matters, together with other business that may properly come before the Board.
The Board may consider and act upon resolutions, financial matters, and other official District business.
This meeting is open to the public.

Advance Notice of 2027 Budget Public Hearing
The Board of Fire Commissioners of Gloucester Township Fire District No. 4 anticipates holding a public hearing on the proposed 2027 Fire District Budget on Wednesday, January 13, 2027, at 7:00 p.m.
The anticipated location is Blackwood Fire Company, 14 W. Central Avenue, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012.
The hearing will provide District taxpayers and other interested persons the opportunity to offer comments and objections concerning the proposed 2027 Fire District Budget.
Following the hearing, the Board may consider formal adoption of the proposed budget, with or without amendments, in accordance with applicable law.
This hearing is anticipated and is subject to the Board's formal introduction and approval of the proposed 2027 Budget, scheduled for December 16, 2026.
Following formal budget introduction, the Board will publish a separate statutory public hearing notice containing the confirmed hearing information and budget availability details.
This advance announcement does not replace the required statutory budget hearing notice.
The anticipated meeting will be open to the public. Formal action may be taken.

The Board of Fire Commissioners of Gloucester Township Fire District No. 4 will hold its first workshop meeting regarding preparation of the 2027 Fire District Budget on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The Budget Workshop will be held immediately following the conclusion of the Board's regularly scheduled District Workshop Meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at the Blackwood Fire Company, 14 W. Central Avenue, Blackwood, New Jersey 08012.
The purpose of the Budget Workshop is to review and discuss matters related to preparation of the District's 2027 Fire District Budget.
No formal action is anticipated at the Budget Workshop.
